BOX OFFICE MANAGER

The Center is seeking applications for a BOX OFFICE MANAGER. This position is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Box Office, ticket sales, Plaza Parking Garage, which includes but is not limited to:

►Supervising and scheduling of all personnel staff in both Box Office and Garage. 
►Maintaining reports for all receipts and cash deposits for box office and garage, overseeing efficient retail functioning of organization and ensuring optimal level of customer services.
►Work with clients to set up events, maintain seating manifests, maintain financial records, and manage the preparation, presentation, and settlement of all event box office statements.
►Maintain detailed account on event specific basis for all ticket requests and transactions.
►Assist with creation and maintenance of all Monthly Parking accounts.
►Work with clients, Center Event Coordinator, and/or Senior Event Manager to set up conference/special event parking coupons for guests of the Center or adjacent hotel, and generating monthly invoices for parking used as related to such coupons. 
►Maintain an awareness and knowledge of all events in the Center as Box Office serves as the first line of inquiry/help desk for general public in the building. 
►Maintain a monthly Fact Sheet of all upcoming ticketed events and all relevant information pertaining thereto, such as date, time, ticket prices, seating manifest, scaling etc. 

REQUIREMENTS
-B.A. in Business or related field of study or equivalent work experience in the management of employees and ticket sales.
-Bookkeeping and Accounting experience at the Associate level or two years experience in this area.
-Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
-Must be able to communicate with customers/clients in a professional manner. 
-Must be flexible with scheduling, and able to work evenings and some holidays.

EVENT COORDINATOR
The Center is seeking applications for an EVENT COORDINATOR. This position is responsible for the overall operation and promotion of center services associated with coordination of events at The Center and public relations with client/customers and the community, which includes but is not limited to:

►Works closely with, as well as assists, other departments to assure proper set-up and other arrangements are made to the specifications of the client for banquets, exhibitions, meetings, seminars, trade shows, concerts and other events.
►Coordinates with lessee on details and needs for their event.
►Promotes a professional and pleasant environment for clients and guests.
►Assists with incoming sales calls.
►Books and facilitates contract with prospective lessee for facility/meeting rooms.
►Maintains all event details and records; preparing reports at request of upper management.
►Present during assigned events to ensure the proper execution of event requirements and satisfaction of the client and attendees.
►Performs all other duties as assigned by the Senior Event Manager, Assistant General Manager and General Manager.


This position is a union position and reports to the Senior Event Manager, Assistant General Manager and the General Manager.


REQUIREMENTS
-B.A. in Hospitality and Tourism, preferably with interest in Event Planning or related field of study or equivalent work experience in related field.
-Must be able to communicate with customers/clients in a professional manner. 
-Must be flexible with scheduling, and able to work evenings and some holidays.

 

 

EVENT STAFF: CONCESSIONS WORKERS

 

 

The Bank of Springfield Center is seeking applications for Concessions Staff Workers. Must be reliable and punctual.  This position is an as needed position with irregular hours.

PART-TIME BATHROOM ATTENDANT

The Bank of Springfield Center is seeking applications for PART-TIME Bathroom Attendant.  

This position is responsible for maintaining/cleaning the facility (bathrooms are a priority) & set-up equipment for various events.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs & work some weekends and holidays. Shifts vary (32 hours per week).  

BOS Center is an E.O.E.

This position is a union position and reports to the Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager and the General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
-RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Previous work experience as a maintenance worker in building operations.
-Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
